Lou Hallow
Lou Hallow is the pen name of Irish author Louise Hall, who writes cosy fantasy rooted in Irish folklore — books to lose yourself in, but find yourself in too.
Lou lives in Malahide, Co. Dublin. She has been writing for as long as she can remember, across fiction, non-fiction and short stories, and now writes the kind of story she most loves to read: warm, magical, a little uncanny, and full of the small-town Ireland she knows well.
Under her own name she has published two works of non-fiction with The Columba Press — one translated into Italian by Edizioni Piemme — and her debut novel, Pilgrim, with Mercier Press, Ireland's oldest publishing house, endorsed by Donal Ryan and Carmel Harrington. Her short fiction has appeared in The Irish Times, and she has been shortlisted for the Colm Tóibín International Short Story Competition, the RTÉ Guide/Penguin Short Story Award and the Jonathan Swift Creative Writing Awards.
Cosy fantasy is where she has landed and where she intends to stay. The Little Shop of Celtic Charms is the first of them.

A clairvoyant shopkeeper and a mysterious wolf-shifter must resist a strange force threatening their town's power — an enchanting cosy fantasy bursting with magic, romance and Irish folklore.
Enya Elvery is an Innloch, somebody whose gift is to speak with her surroundings through dreams and visions. But Enya's powers have faded recently, pointing to a worrying force dimming the town's vibrant spirit.
Conall Conneely is a wolf-shifter from Ireland's Wild West. Rebuilding his life after it went spectacularly wrong, he's drawn to Kinlahide and its Little Shop — and to Enya. Their attraction is immediate, but so is the shared sense that they've been brought together for a reason.
Guided by the town's magical secrets, they find themselves untangling a centuries-old mystery — one whose heart might lead back to the Little Shop itself…
